Joyce Shotwell, MD, FACCP

Dr. Shotwell began her career in medicine as General Medical Officer for the United States Navy where she was stationed onboard USS Yosemite and at NAS Kingston. Upon completion of a Pulmonary Medicine Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas TX, Dr. Shotwell entered into private practice at several hospitals including Baylor Medical Center of Garland in Garland, TX; John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX; Medical City Hospital, Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital, Baylor Specialty Hospital and Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Dr. Shotwell received her bachelor and masters degrees in music from Baylor University in Waco, TX and medical degree in 1979 from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX.

Dr. Joyce Shotwell is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Sleep  Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.
